We collect only what helps us understand and improve this site, respond to you, or provide something you have explicitly requested.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website use and whether resources and campaigns are useful. It may record technical and usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referral source and campaign tags. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, Regional Spending Map inputs or results to Google Analytics.
Contact enquiries
When you use our contact form, Web3Forms processes the name, email address, organisation and message you provide so it can deliver the enquiry to jay@matatihi.nz. We use that information only to respond to you and manage any work you choose to discuss.
Optional Regional Spending Map submission
You can choose to send a Regional Spending Map result to Matatihi with your email address, optional organisation, broad use case and a short description of the decision, audience and deadline. The private lead register stores your contact details, use case and consent, but not the spending inputs, modelled result or decision context. Those details are used only in the notification to Matatihi so we can respond to your enquiry. The form does not email results to visitor-selected recipients or subscribe anyone to a marketing list.
Your choices
We do not sell personal information. You may ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it by emailing jay@matatihi.nz. Our wider approach to Māori data and collective interests is set out in Te Mana Raraunga.
